XploraSub treats all its associates on an equal basis, regardless of their degree of training or knowledge.

XploraSub values its members’ responsibility, curiosity, consistency, availability and humility.

XploraSub recognizes knowledge and experience as valuable, among others, for their contribution to the evolution of its less experienced members.

XploraSub advocates among its associates to maintain an adequate operability, access to specialized equipment of high performance, a permanent update of knowledge and the sharing of information and experience.

XploraSub considers that an appropriate level of safety in scientific projects in the underwater environment is only possible through a proper assessment of the risk involved, the implementation of consistent safeguards and the existence of a cohesive team with a strong confidence in the technical capabilities of all elements.

XploraSub does not specifically follow or discard any teaching system or technical standards of any organization, considering that all are worthy of discussion and capable of contributing to knowledge and applicable in particular situations.
